Tips for getting through Security

http://www.smartertravel.com/travel-advice/ten-smart-ways-to-simplify-security.html?id=3807269&source=rss_advice

With the crowds traveling this holiday season, EVERYONE needs to read these tips to help make getting around easier for all of us.

Remember though, "choose civility" if you happen to get behind a clueless grandma who wrappped her presents and is bringing them in her carry-on bag! (Hey, I may resemble that remark!)

good idea or bad

http://www.usatoday.com/travel/flights/item.aspx?type=blog&ak=68499733.blog&csp=Travel

Read this and let us know what you think you would pay a fee to do onboard. It's been so long but I don't think this would have appealed to me even back when I was firing up on a regular basis. It got me to thinking about a lot of things...like do the airlines have a clue!? Or, what would it be worth it to me to pay for? Would I pay for a decent meal? We're already expected to pay extra for a comfortable seat but I don't have a real problem with the "economy plus" idea. How about you?

flu shots in airports

Definitely an idea whose time has come, don't you think? Now when are the Metro DC/Baltimore airports going to join the list? http://www.usatoday.com/travel/columnist/baskas/2009-09-16-flu-shots_N.htm?csp=Travel

Frequent Flyer Programs

Have the airlines themselves weakened our loyalty? What do you think? http://www.usatoday.com/travel/flights/2009-09-14-travel-rewards-airlines-hotels_N.htm?csp=Travel

The Travel Promotion Act

Is this good news or bad news for the travel industry? I 've read the EU is not happy about this new law. http://www.eturbonews.com/11623/hita-supports-us-travel-promotion-act

Legislation needed!

Well, the airlinles continue to demonstrate more and more reasons why passengers need airlines to adhere to a code of conduct!

Good news

Well fellow travelers, there's hope the airlines may start treating us a little better if this passes!
